A large part of Stormgears is our outreach initiative.
We are always looking for ways to bring STEAM to underprivileged people worldwide.
Local Events:
Our main form of outreach, a process of meeting people and spreading our love of STEAM to them, is through local events. These include races, parades, library workshops, and much more. We go to these types of events often and have always been met by a large host of interested people.
Global Outreach:
Another important facet of the Stormgears initiative is global outreach, in which we help spread STEAM in foreign, often underprivileged, locations worldwide. These include programs in Hong Kong and India. We've helped mentor FLL teams, and we've also helped bring hands-on technology to impoverished children who have only been able to read about them in books.
Stormgears STEAM Splash product suite:
We are in the process of developing an modular product suite to bring STEAM to students around the globe using FIRST ideals.
Dracut High School:
Stormgears are in the process of mentoring a rookie team based in Dracut High School.
